Weekly Workshops for Experienced Improvisers

Take your improv skills to the next level with our Intermediate Improv workshops—designed specifically for those who have completed Intro to Impro or have prior experience. These sessions are all about diving deeper into the art of storytelling, scene work, and stage presence.

What You'll Explore:

  • Platforms and Tilts – Build strong scene setups and create twists that lead to comedic or dramatic impact.

  • Walking Backwards – Embrace uncertainty and learn to make bold choices without needing to know the outcome.

  • Advancing – Keep the momentum going and fuel dynamic scenes.

  • Making Things Happen – Unblock creativity and unleash possibility.

  • Circles of Expectation & Reincorporation – Learn to spot patterns and reinforce your story’s reality.

  • Finding an Ending – Know when and how to land a satisfying scene conclusion.

By the End, You’ll Be Able To:

  • Improvise more coherent, confident, and challenging stories

  • Deepen your understanding of what makes a great scene

  • Collaborate more fluidly with partners

  • Strengthen your personal storytelling voice

  • Expand your toolkit of improv techniques

Classes are minimum 90 minutes (up to 2 hours when needed to complete exercises). Come ready to play, tell stories, and have fun—and maybe even hit the stage in our monthly shows!
